Students in New York are extending a helping hand to hurricane victims.
On Nov. 4, NYIT students made and delivered 240 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in Long Beach, N.Y., a community where many residents are displaced and dealing with damage to their homes and a shortage of food and supplies. Read more.
NYIT students in Manhattan attended a comedy night on Nov. 1 at Dinosaur BBQ and brought supplies to donate for hurricane relief. Another group of students (pictured) volunteered to clean up Fort Tryon Park in New York City. Read more.
