Student ambassadors showed their NYIT pride at Open House on Oct. 27 at the Manhattan campus.
NYIT students participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk on Oct. 20 in Central Park in New York City (pictured) and at Jones Beach on Long Island. Congratulations to those who raised money for the cause, including the NYIT-Old Westbury Student Nurses Association on collecting $4,170 and the Students Working to Achieve Greatness (S.W.A.G.) club on gathering $500 on Oct. 16 at the Pink Everywhere event at NYIT-Manhattan.
Six NYIT students attended the Northeast Regional Conference hosted by the Association for the Promotion of Campus Activities, Oct. 11-13 in Syracuse, N.Y. They included Greek Life Council e-board members Jatinder Saini, Prattasha Paul, Bernadette Connell, Brian Church, and Pooja Berdia as well as Navpreet Sachdev, campus programing board president.
