If you're a creative member of the Class of 2013 who is looking for a full-time job after graduation, Affect has a position for you! The PR and social media firm based in New York City has launched The New York Job Project, a contest to find the right person for a full-time position at the firm. Alumna Regina Nisita (M.A. '06), HR and operations manager at Affect, is involved in planning the contest and encourages NYIT students to apply. Here's how it works:
Submit a creative video or photo entry to the contest web site on why you are an ideal employee.
Ask your social network to vote! The top six semifinalists will be selected by public voting on the contest web site and later interviewed via Skype for a spot in the finals.
The top three finalists from the Skype interview round will be flown to New York (all expenses paid) to meet the Affect team and have an in-person interview with a panel of celebrity judges.
The lucky winner will be announced in the beginning of May 2013. All entries are due by Friday, April 12 at 3 p.m. Read more at The New York Job Project.
