Save the Date: Nov. 8 Relief Meeting for Student Leaders

NYIT student leaders in Old Westbury, including clubs and student government, will gather on Thursday, Nov. 8, 12:45-2:10 p.m. in Anna Rubin Hall, room 308, to coordinate and discuss relief efforts. There will be discussion of an effort to clean houses starting on Friday, Nov. 9 and long-term service ideas.

Students, faculty, and staff members at NYIT’s New York campuses shared information, provided support in the form of safety measures and coordinated activities, and offered their expertise to help those most vulnerable to the impacts of Hurricane Sandy. The storm, which struck the New York metro area on Oct. 29, left a trail of devastation in its wake.
