Interested in Online Gaming? New Course in Game Development & Digital Story Telling

The English Department has added a new writing course to the FA 2013 schedule. It is being run under the course number WRIT 360-M01, Seminar in Professional Writing. The course will introduce interdisciplinary writing, producing, and developing games for the digital environment: thus the subtitle for the course is “Game Development & Digital Storytelling.” The pre-requisite is Writing 1 (FCWR 101/111), although Writing 2 (FCWR 151/161) credit is preferred. Please note: this course is NOT a substitute for any FCWR 3xx professional writing course. It will satisfy a general elective or an “English elective,” but not a liberal arts elective. All majors welcome.

For more details, please see the Game Development & Digital Storytelling flyer, and contact Dr. Williams in the English Department at kwilliam@nyit.edu or 212.261.1560.
