What if I am unable to get to class?
If possible, contact your instructors by email and explain your situation. If you need additional help contacting your instructors, email the Sandy Hotline at sandystudents@nyit.edu and we will email your instructors on your behalf.

 

Can I check to see if my professor has cancelled class?
First, check your NYIT email. If a class session has been cancelled, rescheduled, or changed, faculty members or a department will, when possible, attempt to contact you—most likely via an email to your NYIT email address. If you are unsure if a class is meeting, please email sandystudents@nyit.edu or call 516.686.7799, and we’ll investigate.
