My mother, Patricia Ortmann (M.S. '05), is actually a graduate, and I always planned on going to NYIT for architecture until I changed my major to criminal justice.
Surviving leukemia and playing lacrosse again after losing all of my muscle. I went through all the bad side-effects from chemotherapy and was told that I had one month to live. I beat cancer by staying strong and having amazing friends.
Working for the FBI.
My cousins who all played lacrosse at the DI level.
Being back on the lacrosse field and back in school, so I can fulfill my goals of graduating college and winning a national championship.
Playing lacrosse, cooking for friends and family, hanging out with friends, going fishing, or just hanging out on my boat.
