This is my third semester at NYIT, Manhattan campus as an Electrical and Computer Engineering major. I work in the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP) office. I spend most of my time in the computer lab and with the HEOP family. I am also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) club. We have spoken about creative ideas and we hope to implement them this semester.

The Office of Career Services has been very helpful in providing me direction in my career. They assisted me with making my resume and cover letter. They also prepared me for the real world by helping me improve my speaking and interviewing skills.

The classes and professors at NYIT are very friendly and willing to help students, more specifically, the math department and Professor Kohn. She is the best! Overall, my experience at NYIT has been very positive. The small class sizes and the technology have added to the positivity.
