Making a Difference Trish’s responsibilities include the daily operations of three hospitals, a home health care agency and hospice, and hospital-based outpatient services. Baystate Health employs 10,000 health care professionals and technical staff, serving approximately 800,000 people in western New England. In addition, Trish is passionate about making a "lasting and meaningful impact on people whose lives are affected by illness and disability." Career highlights include the development of critical health care services for disadvantaged communities, as well as medical and support services for at-risk children in families with domestic violence. She also mentors young leaders by partnering with local schools to train future doctors and nurses.
Favorite NYIT Memory Trish recalls one class in which she and her classmates wrote a detailed business plan to create a low-cost, regional commuter air transport company. "Shortly after we submitted our plan, we’d discovered that someone else had almost the exact same idea and opened a start-up airline in the same locations!"
A World of Opportunity Trish chose NYIT because it afforded her the opportunity to learn in a global environment.
Definition of Success "Making it possible for others to improve their lives and live their dreams."
Favorite Movie "Dark Victory with Bette Davis. I am an old black-and-white movie buff."
