Why study at NYIT?
NYIT is close to home and allowed me to enter the nursing program in my first year.
I work as a patient care assistant at Nassau University Medical Center. I also interned at NYU Langone Medical Center as a patient tour guide.
Best NYIT moment
Starting the clinical portion of the nursing program and wearing my scrubs in NYIT colors for the first time.
At NYIT, I'm part of a university that offers enjoyable ways to learn new things. The technology in the NYIT nursing arts lab has enabled me to gain skills and practice my knowledge.
Favorite tech gadget
My iPad mini and cell phone.
How would you define YOUR NYIT?
My NYIT is a place where I excel as a nurse with the greatest amount of knowledge, aided by my professors and instructors as well as by other role models and friends on campus.
Work in a hospital and maybe pursue a graduate degree in the near future. NYIT has equipped me with the tools to succeed as a new nurse in the field.
I speak three languagesSpanish, English, and Italian.
I enjoy working out or going for a walk or a jog at the park.
