I will be second to none.
Work in NYIT
I was an administrative assistant and helped with our part of the AACSB application. I also was an assistant manager of the NYIT Center for Humanities and Culture at NUPT, where I conducted daily operations. These two jobs really taught me a sense of responsibility.
Advantages of an NYIT Education
I was able to take core business courses such as corporate finance, financial accounting, and international marketing from experienced professors who teach in English. Using English helps us learn the technical terms, and the strict professors, along with help at the writing center, help us prepare better for graduate school. And the Bloomberg system in the computer lap helps me get up-to-date data and business news.
Outside of class, the regular guest speakers have helped me to broaden my horizons.
I have been accepted to Fordham University's M.S. program in Global Finance. My goal is to pass the CFA exam, polish my financial skills, and become a financial analyst in a big corporation.
Advice to Younger Students
Set goals as soon as possible, and work hard to achieve them. College is not a long journey; you don't have much time to waste.
