My name is Ramon Valentin; I am a freshman at NYIT, Manhattan Campus. I expect to graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. My NYIT experience has been great so far. I have taken every opportunity to get involved. I am currently a part of the Student Government Association and serve as a junior senator. As a junior senator, I am learning the leadership skills that are necessary to become a future senator. As a result, I have had many opportunities to meet new people, both administration and students.

I also work as a work-study student in the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program. This role has taught me the functions of an office, interacting with students, and helping out with the computer lab. Attending NYIT was a decision that I never regret making. NYIT consistently provides students with new opportunities. This makes NYIT a remarkable and unique experience. I love it!
