My NYIT experience has been very enriching so far. Some of the classes that I’m taking are interesting and I have learned many new things through these classes, but for some of the classes I have a hard time understanding my professors. Most professors at NYIT are nice, friendly, and helpful. I have joined a club called MSA (Muslim Student Association). I enjoy attending the meetings with my friends and found the events both informative and interesting. When I first started at NYIT I was afraid that I would not be able to make any new friends, but after the first semester I had made many new friends and get along with them very well. I have three best friends and we all have the same major; we attend meetings together and we have classes together. I enjoy hanging out with them after classes.

I want to achieve a degree in Life science through NYIT. I have many good professors in my field of study who can guide me in my endeavor.

My hobbies are painting, drawing, playing tennis and hanging out with friends. I have completed one semester working in the HEOP office and I will continue working on campus because my work experience has been great. My supervisor and all the staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.
