Position: Research and Development Director, Entertainment Imaging Division, Digital Systems Engineering Organization, Eastman Kodak Co. Pixel Perfect Awards Michael earned the 1999 Scientific and Engineering Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for the design and development of the Kodak Lightning Laser Film Recorder. He also holds numerous patents and patent-pending applications in digital motion imaging and digital cinema and is the co-author of the Digital Picture Exchange (DPX) File Format SMPTE 268M Standard.
