Why study at NYIT?
Because NYIT comprises students from different walks of life, interests, and skill sets. My main purpose is to extend my knowledge and development in the area of childhood education. I decided to study here because of the qualified teachers and professors, the good infrastructure and advanced technology, and the convenient location.
I have volunteered at Literacy Nassau, which provides services each year for hundreds of functionally illiterate adults in Nassau County, N.Y., and assists them, their families, and hopefully future generations to be self-sufficient and achieve personal success.
To work for a public elementary school in Long Island, N.Y. I aspire to become a memorable teacher who encourages and motivates her students. I believe that every human being has innate value and infinite potential within them. I look forward to helping students discover their fundamental worth and strengths.
My boyfriend has been the greatest inspiration in my life. He is my role model and mentor. I look up to him in so many different ways. He has a brilliant mind and a wonderful personality. He constantly pushes me to strive for the best and supports all of my endeavors. I am truly grateful to him for being there for me every step of the way.
Going to the movies, reading literature books, socializing with friends, and traveling.
