Current Position
Architect and owner of Leigh Overland Architect LLC, working on as many as 50 projects each year, including the design of corporate headquarters, banquet halls, churches, and residences.

Building Ratings
The producers of ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition contacted Leigh about creating a new home for a Bridgeport, Conn., family. His firm had three weeks to design the house and provide a full set of construction documents, one week to coordinate the project with the general contractor, and another week for the actual construction. The show aired in October 2007. Below are before and after photos of Leigh’s handiwork.

Favorite NYIT Memory
Building bonds with fellow students, especially those with whom Leigh still keeps in touch. He recalls when he and other NYIT students traveled to Italy to study architectural design-an experience that continues to influence him to this day.
