Campus: Old Westbury Major: B.F.A., Graphic Design
An NYIT alumni, with a graduate degree in Design Management from Pratt Institute. As a Graphic Designer with 10 years of professional experience, he has worked in a variety of fast-paced environments, from fashion to sports and Jahanzeb started his career at McRoberts Mitchell, a design shop located in SoHo, New York. Due to McRoberts’ hands-on culture, he was exposed to the inner mechanics of running a studio in addition to the business of design. The studio life also enabled him to work with a variety of clients, applying strategic design thinking to produce applicable commercial solutions.
Following his time at McRoberts Mitchell, he joined For Him Magazine (FHM), a UK-based publication as the Art Editor in 2008 and led a successful transition from print to web. During that time, he also founded Designer Reserve, a collective design studio. This venture has led to innovative projects, including branding fashion labels and working with the NFL and NBA. Designer Reserve continues to not only build strong relationships between clients and their customers, but it also provides charitable work for organizations such as Hope Africa and C.J. Jahanzeb is presently Design Director for WGSN Inc., a trend forecasting service in Manhattan.
