Why work at NYIT?
It's more than just a job. I enjoy and value working and collaborating with smart, talented people of all backgrounds to achieve NYIT's goals and objectives in a dynamic, complex environment. When I first applied for an IT position at NYIT in 2004, I felt that it was the best place to utilize my experience and skills, and I'm proud to work for an institution that's ranked as a great college to work for.
Managing NYIT's desktop support unit, servicing the information technology and infrastructure desktop, and providing laptop and mobile computing to support the needs of faculty, staff, and students. I work closely with colleagues to create and implement desktop support policies and assure compliance with university policies and procedures. I also assist our director in establishing cooperative relationships with other NYIT departments and in developing and prioritizing desktop support needs and services. I always aim to build and permanently maintain a high quality, knowledgeable, responsive, proactive, agile client service unit.
