Why study at NYIT?
It is a great environmentthe students and professors are all amazing people.
I'm a proud member of the cheerleading team and serve as the Editor in Chief of The Campus Slate. Prior to this role, I worked as a staff reporter and associate editor. Being involved at school is such a big part of my college experience personally and professionally.
The day I was named associate editor of The Campus Slate caught me off guard in the best way possible. I joined the newspaper during my first semester at NYIT and really matured from it. No freshman had ever gotten this position, which was made specifically for me. This moment gave me the motivation to have confidence in everything I do at NYIT.
My motherthe greatest role model I could ask for. She always told me, "In life, you can do anything you want; as long as you do it with passion, you will be successful." This is the best tip I have ever received and I live by it.
To edit a leading magazine such as Vogue and to become the next Katie Couric.
