Why study at NYIT?
It offers various programs for different interests. I'm in the combined B.S./D.P.T. program, which allows me to earn two degrees in only six years.
I've been involved in student government since high school. I hope to further connect with the NYIT community and do what I can to strengthen the communication between athletics and the student body and faculty.
Best NYIT experiences
Receiving the Coach's Award on senior night, achieving a 3.9 GPA for the spring 2013 semester, living in a residence hall at SUNY Old Westbury and becoming friends with numerous international athletes, and starting a track club in my freshman year and medaling in all five events we competed in.
Physical therapist with a private practice or rehabilitating professional athletes.
In middle school, I had an opportunity to compete in nationals for cross country, and assuming that my times were on point, I would have been an All American. After breaking my wrist, I was unable to compete. At first I was upset about what seemed like the most unfortunate event, but then, sadly, my grandmother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Breaking my wrist allowed us to spend time together before her passing. This experience has been one of the most important influences on what kind of person I am today.
I enjoy poetry!
NYIT students around me. I glean good qualities from them. My middle school coach, Joan Ruckert, is also a mentor. She was crucial in the development of my values both as an athlete and a young man transitioning into adulthood.
Working out, boxing, reading, and a side job in construction and contracting.
