Favorite NYIT Experience
I have a few favorites, including planning a carnival-themed fundraiser for the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, participating in a masquerade ball for Valentine's Day, and attending the Spring Formal Cruise.
Why I chose NYIT
Because of the amazing location and the small teacher-to-student ratio, which provides the students with a more intimate classroom experience.
My NYIT is friendly and fun. My NYIT is where I know a large majority of the student population and professors.
When I first joined NYIT, I couldn't wait to... Live in the residence halls and interact with students from different cultures.
What I want to be when I grow up:
I have always wanted to study English. Growing up, I was mesmerized by the power of the written word. I came to NYIT wanting to be a teacher, to be able to introduce and nurture this love of storytelling in other students. During my time at NYIT, my dreams have grown and broadened. I still want to teach, but I am also looking into careers in journalism, screenwriting, and even copy-writing. When I grow up, I want to inspire and entertain people with my writing. I want to tell stories that have yet to be heard.
