Favorite NYIT Experience
Spring Formal Cruise, 2012
Why I chose NYIT
Because of the amazing location and the small teacher-to-student ratio. Therefore, more intimate classrooms.
My NYIT is friendly and fun. My NYIT is where I know a large majority of the student population and even a good number of professors personally.
When I first joined NYIT, I couldn't wait to... Interact with students from different cultures and meet many different people.
What I want to be when I grow up:
I have always wanted to study English literature and become a writer. Coming to NYIT has broadened my experiences and allowed my dreams to grow. My literature classes have exposed me to new skills and careers in journalism, screenwriting, and copywriting. During my first semester, I had to create a public service announcement (PSA) in my Foundations of Inquiry class. It was a great experience that allowed me to not only learn about problems in the community, but it also gave me a chance to interact with my classmates.
