NYIT: What's it really like?
When I first entered through the front doors of New York Institute of Technology, I was amazed. I remember a few years ago, when I was still in high school and I was thinking of what college would be like. I thought to myself "Oh, I still have a long way to go until college." However, those years have passed and I am a proud college student. From the first day, I knew that this place was right for me, from looking at the classrooms to the students. Everyone seemed to enjoy every aspect of the environment. I was overwhelmed by how many students actually use the student parking lots and how, all of a sudden, they fill up.
I think I will remember these days like they were just last week and I will never forget these moments even through graduation and life in the future.
The professors are all very nice and always want to help you become a better student. There are always many events going on all around the campus from barbecues to educational events. There are also many clubs that a student can join. I personally would definitely recommend joining clubs, because the experience that one gets from them are unforgettable.
New York Institute of Technology has truly helped me in many ways, and I'm sure that it will help me many more times over the years as I transform from a student to a businessman or better yet an accountant!
