NYIT hosted a delegation from the Ministry of Education (MoE) of China, led by Senior Counselor Madame Wang Liying, at the Manhattan campus on Aug. 31. Five additional MoE representatives from the central Chinese ministry in Beijing and four members of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in New York joined NYIT President Guiliano, administration, and faculty to discuss the administration of higher education institutions, the selection of university presidents, and related topics. President Guiliano addressed the Class of 2016 on Sept. 4 at the university's campuses in Manhattan and Old Westbury, N.Y. He told new students that an NYIT ID card is “your ticket to the global interconnectivity that is this university.”

Presidential Technology Awardees

President Guiliano presented awards to five faculty and staff members at NYIT's 2012 convocation.
