New York, N.Y.(March 16, 2012) — More than 200 guests attended today's naming ceremony for the Edward Guilano Global Center at New York Institute of Technology’s Manhattan campus.
The NYIT Board of Trustees chose to name the flagship building at 1855 Broadway for NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., because of his leadership, philanthropy, and scholarship. As president, he has overseen the largest renovation and construction of campus facilities in the college’s history, and has implemented an ambitious strategic plan to guide the university’s growth for the next two decades.
