NYIT sLAB Costa Rica Architecture Students Build Recycling Center in Nosara

Nosara, Costa Rica (July 17, 2012) — NYIT School of Architecture and Design students are in Nosara, Costa Rica this summer, working to build a recycling center as part of the sLAB Costa Rica design-build initiative. The group, led by assistant professor of architecture Tobias Holler and motivated by the country’s severe solid waste management problem, presented different design schemes to the Nosara community in January 2012 before refining their final plan for construction.
