Old Westbury, N.Y. (April 6, 2012) —National Taichung University (NTCU) President Yang Szu-Wei visited New York Institute of Technology campuses in New York and Old Westbury last week to mark the latest step in his university's cross-campus collaboration with NYIT.
President Yang joined NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., and Provost and VP for Academic Affairs, Rahmat Shoureshi, Ph.D., in meetings with key university leadership to discuss the development of a series of dual graduate and undergraduate degree programs in International Business, Computer Science, and Information Technology Professional Training—as well as an intensive English program for undergraduate students that will be implemented this summer. The plans fall within the frame of an overall partnership agreement between the Taiwanese university and NYIT.
