NYIT kicked off International Education Week with its fourth annual Fair Trade Festival on Monday, November 14 at Harry Schure Hall in Old Westbury.
"The festival is unique insofar as the proceeds provide income to people in developing countries who rely on it for food, education, healthcare and housing," said Director of International Education Barbara Multari.
Items displayed at the festival, which runs through November 16, represent the talents of artisans from around the world.
