NYIT's Center for Global Health landed in the Republic of Haiti on Friday, Jan. 20, to coordinate medical education and student opportunities with Doctors United for Haiti and Save the Children. The team, comprised of NYIT osteopathic physicians William Blazey, Edward Gotfried, Michael Passafaro, and Deborah Lardner, will also work with local health providers in Haiti to provide clinical services to patients.
