NYIT Awarded Federal Grant for Media Project in China

The NYIT Center for Humanities and Culture is the recipient of a U.S. Department of State Federal Assistance Award of $25,000 in support of a media strategy project in Jiangsu Province, China. Communication arts professors Kim Bigelow, Tom Speirs, Patrick Karle, and Geoff Bell, Ph.D., will conduct a contest in which students make short films to educate audiences about intellectual property rights.
