NYIT-Bahrain’s marketing department is starting to prepare for the Fourth Annual Ramadan Charity Drive, which is one of NYIT’s major charity events in Bahrain. Ramadan is the Islamic month of fasting for Muslims around the world, and this year the holiday is being observed from August 11 through September The event sees active participation from students, staff and faculty. Last year the charity campaign was held in conjunction with the Islah Society, a Middle East charitable organization, and distributed food parcels to more than 70 needy families throughout the country.
NYIT-Bahrain’s marketing department plans on publicizing the event through posters, advertisements, and through student popular social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
