Current Events with Journalist Ken Ellingwood

On Thursday, September 27, Ken Ellingwood, author of Hard Line: Life and Death on the U.S. Mexican Border and former Mexico City and Jerusalem Los Angeles Times foreign correspondent, kicked off the first bi-weekly Current Events session hosted by NYIT's Center for Humanities and Culture at NUPT.

Ken shared his riveting personal experiences of his life as a journalist. Students, staff, and faculty participated in a lively question and answer period following the talk which characterized a career in journalism as being a noble search for truth that can often be life threatening.
