If you are looking to take an experiential learning class as a business elective this is the class! Professor Scillitoe and company executives will co-teach this experiential learning class. There is possible internship/employment opportunities upon completion of the course with the company. Offered in MA on Fridays.
The team is looking to recruit two more students! The Fed Challenge Team consists of juniors and seniors who will participate in a competition among 20 colleges and universities in the 2nd Federal Reserve District. The students under the guidance of Drs Kutasovic and Afxentiou prepare a report on economic outlook and make recommendations on monetary policy to a group of judges. The students earn 3 credits for participating and excellent knowledge on how to perform economic forecast. Open to Old Westbury and Manhattan students. Great Learning Opportunity!
For the new fall 2010 students of the School of Management, there will be a mandatory orientation that the students are required to attend. Also any spring 2010 School of Management student who did not attend orientation in the spring has to attend the mandatory orientation. The School of Management has put together an information-packed orientation program that all new students in the School of Management are REQUIRED to attend.
