Primary Location: Old Westbury

Responsibilities: New York Institute of Technology seeks a Department Chair and Associate Professor/Professor in Teacher Education (Full-time, tenure-track, Old Westbury; Manhattan and online campuses).

Qualifications: Candidates must have an earned doctorate in special education/education or related field from an accredited institution, must possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a solid publication record. Candidates must have a minimum of three years full-time teaching experience in P-12 schools and a minimum of five years full-time college/university teaching experience. The Department Chair will be responsible for innovative leadership of the department, quality of the curriculum and instruction, and program accreditation at the Manhattan, Old Westbury, and online campuses.
