School of Health Professions Faculty Research on Martial Arts Training and its Physiological Effects

Physical Therapy faculty members Dr. Peter Douris and Prof Teresa Ingenito, along with PA faculty member Prof. Barbara Piccariello, presented their research on "Martial Arts Training Attenuates Arterial Stiffness in Middle-aged Adults" at the most recent NYIT Provost Discovery Luncheon. The research has also been accepted for publication in the Asian Journal of Sports Medicine.
