NYIT Center for Gerontology and Geriatrics Introduces Brown Bag Lunch Series

A new Brown Bag Lunch Series on health, wellness, and aging topics will convene with its first session on Tuesday, March 13, 1-2 p.m. in Riland Auditorium, Old Westbury campus. The event, organized by the NYIT Center for Gerontology and Geriatrics, features Robert Schwalbe, Ph.D., a leading New York-based psychoanalyst and author of the book, Sixty, Sexy, and Successful: A Guide for Aging Male Baby Boomers.

Maintaining vitality as one gets older is a goal shared by all people. This series will explore topics relevant to the Center's mission to educate present and future health care professionals about the lifestyle of older adults and what best promotes their wellness. For more information, contact Tobi Abramson, Ph.D., director of the NYIT Center for Gerontology and Geriatrics, at tabramso@nyit.edu.
