Responsibilities or Position Duties:
The Graduate Assistant will be working with the Center for HR Studies' Department Chair, Staff Associate and Executive Director with regard to the Center's professional development classes, MS HRM/LR classes and special projects. This person will have office administrative duties, and implement and evaluate professional workshops and courses for HR professionals.
Responsibilities include marketing, administration and evaluation of the Center’s professional development (PD) programs, which enrolled over 200 professionals from the fields of HR, payroll, treasury and accounting; planning and administrative support to NYIT’s Student SHRM Chapter; and various other administrative assignments.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word.
Be team player. Be good communicator. Able to explain to potential students the various programs offered. Good researcher and muti tasker.
