Graduate Student Registration

We hope you are enjoying your summer and looking forward to joining us at NYIT in the Fall. In the meantime, it’s time to think about registering for your Fall classes. 

All new full-time Computer Graphics and Animation MFA students are advised to take the following courses:

  • ARTH 601       History of Art & Technology
  • ARTH 602       Aesthetic and Theory
  • ARTC 801       Graduate Critique/Thesis Orientation
  • ARTA 701       3D Modeling & Animation
  • ARTA 801       Concept, Character & Storyboard Development

All new full-time Graphic Design MFA students are advised to take the following courses:

  • ARTH 601       History of Art & Technology
  • ARTH 602       Aesthetic and Theory
  • ARTC 801       Graduate Critique/Thesis Orientation
  • ARTG 601       Content in Design
  • ARTG 602       Design for Print

All new full-time Art and Technology MFA students are advised to take the following courses:

If you plan to take the recommended first semester courses, please feel free to register for your classes now

If you would like to meet with an advisor, you can either meet with the Department Chair Terry Nauheim during the summer, or you can be advised on Sept 2, when most of the Fine Arts Faculty will be on campus.
