NYIT Film/Animation Festival 2014, May 16th, Friday

This year, the annual Fine Arts Animation Festival will join hands with Communication Arts to create the first NYIT Film and Animation Festival, sponsored by the College of Arts and Sciences.  This exciting event will screen a variety of animations and films created by NYIT students' works, including all global campuses.   All are welcome to attend, and admission is free.  Please save the date!  We will be inviting industry professionals to come check out your artworks, comment on them, and give jury's picks and awards.  Plus, we will be hosting a reception after the event with refreshments!

For the Animation program of the festival, all Fine Arts students-BFA and MFA, are invited to submit completed animations/time-based work produced in the 2013-2014 academic year.  2D/3D-Animation, Motion Graphics, Stop Motion Animation, Video, and other experimental time-based works are welcome. Please note the following submission guidelines:


-Deadline: May 12, Monday, 5PM

-Submitted to Professor Yuko Oda as CD/DVD; or submitted to FTP drive (information will be provided closer to date) -Files must be compressed with H.264 compression and .mov or .mp4 files.

-Dimension: HD 720 (1280 W x 720 H)
