Art Exhibit There are only two weeks left to visit NYIT Gallery 61 to see an art exhibit featuring work by students in the Vocational Independence Program, College of Arts and Sciences, and schools of Architecture and Design and Engineering and Computing Sciences. The exhibit runs through Thursday, Aug. 16 with viewing hours Monday to Saturday, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. at NYIT Gallery 61, 16 W. 61st St., 11th floor, Manhattan. New Practices New York 2012 View work by Holler Architecture, run by Tobias Holler, assistant professor of architecture, on display through Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, Manhattan. The exhibit, organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), features seven firms selected as AIA New Practices New York 2012, a biennial award recognizing and promoting innovative and emerging architecture firms in New York City. Much of Holler's work was done in tandem with his NYIT coursework.
