Art Exhibit NYIT Gallery 61 presents an art exhibit through Thursday, Aug. 16 featuring work by students in the Vocational Independence Program, College of Arts and Sciences, and schools of Architecture and Design and Engineering and Computing Sciences. Teacher Education Summer Institute Join NYIT's School of Education for a summer institute on "The Common Core: Missing Link to Implementing RTI," Monday, June 25 - Thursday, June 28, 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the NYIT de Seversky Mansion, Old Westbury campus. New Practices New York 2012 View work by Holler Architecture, run by Tobias Holler, assistant professor of architecture, on display from Thursday, June 14 to Saturday, Sept. 8 at the Center for Architecture, 536 LaGuardia Place, Manhattan. The exhibit, organized by the American Institute of Architects (AIA), features seven firms selected as AIA New Practices New York 2012, a biennial award recognizing and promoting innovative and emerging architecture firms in New York City.
