Alumni from NYIT's Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) program who graduated in 2011 and 2012 have achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the national licensing exam given by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. For the Class of 2013, the first-time pass rate is 81 percent—right at the national average.

"Therapy Sessions," a feature article about NYIT's flourishing physical and occupational therapy programs, will be published in the next issue of NYIT Magazine, coming soon in fall 2013. Pictured at left is a photo taken for the magazine feature in the physical therapy lab of the 500 Building at NYIT-Old Westbury, where students learn to incorporate technology, such as using tablet devices, into their hands-on techniques.

Congratulations to all who contribute to the academic success of NYIT's D.P.T. program!
