All New York-based faculty and staff members received an email from the Department of Payroll on Sept. 3 about NYIT's new paperless payroll system. As of Sept. 9, employees will be responsible for submitting electronic time sheets for approval by their supervisors and those using direct deposit will not receive paper pay stubs unless they request them. Payroll information is available through the NYIT Employee Self-Service Portal.
Additional emails will be sent to hourly, part-time, and full-time employees in the coming days with more information about how to use the new system.
