An interdisciplinary, semester-long research initiative coordinated by Tobi Abramson, Ph.D. (firstname.lastname@example.org), director of the NYIT Center for Gerontology and Geriatrics, and Martha Siegel (email@example.com), chair of the Department of Interior Design, has culminated in students presenting their projects to help elderly residents "age in place," or avoid moving from their homes. Leonard B. Goldstein, D.D.S., Ph.D. (email@example.com), director of clerkship education at the NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine, published a review of the textbook, Mandibular Suction-Effective Denture and BPS: A Complete Guide for all Types of Edentulous Cases, published in the November 2012 issue of the New York State Dental Journal.
Ernst VanBergeijk, Ph.D. (firstname.lastname@example.org), associate dean and executive director of the NYIT Vocational Independence Program (VIP), and Paul Cavanagh, Ph.D. (email@example.com), director of academics and evaluation for VIP, published the article, "Teaching Financial Literacy: A Key Aspect on the Road to Independence," in the November 2012 issue of Exceptional Parent Magazine. It also appeared on the publication's front cover.
