Susana H. Case, Ph.D. (shcase@nyit.edu), professor and Manhattan campus coordinator for behavioral sciences, co-authors a blog about the lives and deaths of prominent suicides. Read more.

Leonard B. Goldstein, D.D.S., Ph.D. (lbgoldst@nyit.edu), associate professor of family medicine and director of clerkship education for the College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Frank Genese, OMS IV, co-wrote the article, “Trigeminal Neuralgia: A Closer Look at This Enigmatic and Debilitating Disease, Part 1,” published in the September 2012 issue of the journal, Practical Pain Management.

John Hanc (jhanc@nyit.edu), associate professor of communication arts, published the Sept. 11 New York Times article, "Work Out, but Know Your Limits." Read more.

Mindy Haar, Ph.D. (mhaar@nyit.edu), director of the graduate program in clinical nutrition and the didactic program in dietetics, published "Factors Associated with Sense of Community Among Allied Health Students" on Sept. 11 in the Journal of Allied Health. Read more.

  • "Gain Measurement and Uncertainty Assessment of a GPS Receiver's Antenna at 1575.42 MHz" and "Wireless Indoor Position Estimation By Using Hybrid TDOA/RSS Algorithm," 2012 IEEE International Conference on Vehicular Electronics and Safety.

Vesna Zeljkovic, Ph.D. (vzeljkov@nyit.edu), associate professor of electrical engineering at NYIT-Nanjing, has written the paper, "Exudates Detection and Classification Algorithm of Diabetic Patients' Retina Images," which was accepted for publication in the February 2013 issue of the Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers.
