NYIT's annual Cyber Security Conference on Sept. 20 in Manhattan discussed how individuals and organizations can protect themselves against escalating cyber attacks. President Guiliano addressed conference attendees about the university's commitment to finding solutions to this worldwide problem and training students for positions in the field. In addition, the conference featured keynote speakers Marisa S. Viveros, vice president of cyber security innovation at IBM, and Neal Ziring, technical director of the Information Assurance Directorate at the National Security Agency.
