Sep 04 2013

NYIT Career Services

NYIT Career Services has launched the Consultants for the Public Good program to provide opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and alumni to collaborate on multidisciplinary, pro bono projects for nonprofit organizations in the New York area. This new NYIT community service program is designed to build teamwork and communication skills, and offer all parties a meaningful work experience that merges civic engagement with their talents. Faculty/staff experts in their field are invited to serve as senior consultants. Areas of expertise range from engineering to marketing to instructional technology to health care—and more.

Save the Date: Tuesday, Sept. 17

The official launch event for Consultants for the Public Good will convene nonprofit clients from Long Island and Manhattan to pitch their projects to NYIT faculty, staff, students, and alumni. Attend the event to find a project that interests you and offers the best match to your area of expertise.
