Aydin Farajidavar, Ph.D. (email@example.com), assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering, co-presented a poster based on his research paper, "A Multichannel Wireless Mapping System for Monitoring Gastric Slow Wave Activity," during Digestive Disease Week in May. He gave a talk on the same topic at the 2014 International Gastrointestinal Electrophysiology Society (IGES) meeting on May 3 in Chicago. His paper received the Robert Stern Best Young Investigator Award from IGES. Farajidavar developed his multichannel wireless mapping system in NYIT's Integrated Medical Systems Laboratory and tested it in the Auckland Bioengineering Institute at University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Hui-Yin Hsu, Ph.D. (firstname.lastname@example.org), associate professor of teacher education, and Shiang-Kwei Wang, Ph.D. (Shiang-Kwei.Wang@nyit.edu), associate professor of instructional technology, presented the paper, "The Impact of Professional Development on Middle School Science Teachers' New Literacy Practices in the Classrooms," at the 2014 annual conference of the Internal Reading Association on May 10 in New Orleans, La.
