Physical Therapy Grads Ace Licensing Exam

Alumni from NYIT's Doctor of Physical Therapy (D.P.T.) program who graduated in 2011 and 2012 have achieved a 100 percent pass rate on the national licensing exam given by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. For the Class of 2013, the first-time pass rate is 81 percent-right at the national average.

Paperless Payroll Reminder

Paperless Payroll Reminder All New York-based faculty and staff members received an email from the Department of Payroll on Sept. 3 about NYIT's new paperless payroll system. As of Sept. 9, employees will be responsible for submitting electronic time sheets for approval by their supervisors and those using direct deposit will not receive paper pay stubs unless they request them. ...more

Be a Consultant for the Public Good NYIT Career Services has launched the Consultants for the Public Good program to provide opportunities for faculty, staff, students, and alumni to collaborate on multidisciplinary, pro bono projects for nonprofit organizations in the New York area. This new NYIT community service program is designed to build teamwork and communication skills, and offer all parties a meaningful work experience that merges civic engagement with their talents.
