NYIT Dean Joins Girls Scouts STEM Advisory Committee Congratulations to Nada Anid, Ph.D., dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences, who has been named to a new STEM Advisory Committee formed by the Board of Directors of Girl Scouts of Nassau County, N.Y. She will work with the group on strategies to engage girls and young women in pursuing education and careers in the science, technology, education, and math fields. ...more

Faculty ePortfolios Move from TaskStream to Mahara NYIT is changing systems from TaskStream to Mahara for faculty ePortfolios used for all personnel processes (reappointment, tenure, promotion, sabbatical). Please welcome NYIT's new students this summer as they visit campus for Orientation and prepare to "SOAR Toward Excellence" this fall. The Division of Student Affairs, along with student leaders and faculty, is guiding new students through the Student Orientation Advisement and Retention (SOAR) program at the Manhattan and Old Westbury campuses.
