Get Help with Just In Case App The Office of Counseling and Wellness now offers a new mobile service that supplies potentially life-saving information to the NYIT community. It's the Just in Case smartphone app that's designed to help people who have difficulty coping, are worried about a friend, or have questions about mental health issues. R.S.V.P. for Presidential Lecture Learn how to sharpen your strategic problem-solving and leadership skills from Gen. Richard A. Cody, the highly decorated former vice chief of staff of the U.S. Army. He will deliver the Presidential Lecture, "Leadership in the 21st Century," on Thursday, March 13, 5:30 p.m. at NYIT Auditorium on Broadway. With 32 years of active duty, including Operation Desert Storm and Enduring Freedom, Cody will also explain how his military experiences and skills translated to the corporate world as an executive at L-3 Communications. Early intervention from the Advising and Enrichment Center can help these students by identifying and correcting the issues. Save Our Students (SOS) is a campus-wide effort that brings prompt support to students who might be headed to academic trouble.
